Q: Will all the food be Irish?
A: No! There are some foods with smells that aren’t appealing during an evening affair. Cabbage and Corn Beef Hash are two of them! There will be a few Irish delights, yet the majority will be traditional dinner and dessert selections.
Q: Do we have to wear a Kilt or all green gowns?
A: Nope! We hope you take advantage of the opportunity to wear your Kilts and Emerald Gowns; however, if the Kilt is not for you, you can wear attire you would wear at any other Gala. You can wear any colors you choose.
Q: Is this anything like a St. Patty’s Day Party?
A: No! This is an Evening Gala. It is a fun Celtic themed Irish celebration, not a beads and leprechauns costume party. That will be on the 15th, downtown!
Q: Will there be children at the event?
A: No way! This is an opportunity for mom and dad to have some real fun they won’t have to explain. Go ahead and start rounding up GiGi and Papa now.
Q: Are there hotels close to the venue?
A: Yes! Main Street alone has two and there are many more within a two mile radius. Some provide shuttle services.
Q: Will the music only be ball room and Irish?
A: Not at all! The live DJ will play an array of party and dance music throughout the evening. You can even make requests. Be prepared, at some point in the evening, he will be required to drop, “Shipping Up to Boston”!

A: We still need volunteers. If you wish to assist, email us. We have an array of needs that will fit anyone’s abilities. You can start by getting the word out, and let us know what you would like to do further.
